Ian Porter Sales and Porters have been
involved with the Wayfarer, Wanderer and Gull for over 40 years and
therefore are aware of the design changes, the
change and availability of parts since these designs were first
launched.
SPARS and SAILS are available from stock.
TRAILERS and TROLLEY units are held for new boats and
replacements.
COVERS - overboom, flat, trailing covers, under-covers are
available in a number of materials from stock or with a small lead time
if a "special".
FITTINGS are available although some from the past have been dis-continued
and in some cases alternatives are available. Special systems can be
made up and supplied such as centre mainsheet kits, spinnaker systems,
control line systems and the like.
CENTREBOARDS, RUDDERS, RUDDER STOCKS are now made with GRP blades
and Alloy stocks. Wooden rudder stocks and tillers are expensive and now
only made to special order.
WOODEN FLOORBOARDS for Wayfarer, Wanderers and Gulls can be made to
order. There are variations in size and so a template, the old boards or
some dimensions are required to assist manufacture.
WOODEN BENCHES for Wayfarers can be made to special order although
the availability of hard woods is making this more difficult to
complete. At Porters we have just commissioned new GRP benches to fit to
older versions for this reason.
WOODEN RACE FOILS are available to special order for both
Wayfarer and Wanderer.
SPECIAL ITEMS such as anchor warp drums, spinnaker bags, outboard
motor brackets, hatch gaskets, hatch fittings, new moulded hatch covers,
GRP and alloy tabernacles, toe straps, sheets and ropes, towing spares
and many others are also available.

availability. Goods are sent out with invoice and settlement is required
by electronic transfer or by cheque.
We have found that it is difficult to keep a comprehensive spare list up
to date in the current market situation based upon the numerous
suppliers that this involves.
